I selected this beautiful rug from piles of carpets because I have always loved a good vintage Taznakht rug with bright, saffron color. Background of this one is a natural dyied yellow with indigo blue and faded red designs (+brown borders). The composition is symetrical with multiple crosses and diamond designs + birth symbols all over the rug.
Tight weaving which is typical from the Taznakht tribe. Low to medium pile, silky and soft wool 100%.
Approximate dimensions are 4.3x7.6feet / 134x234cm. The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
This rug is real vintage, meaning that it has been made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with obvious signs of age. Shows some worn spots in pile. It has been cleaned and nicely fixed, shows no stains and is now in a great vintage condition!
