This modern-style, textured Mrirt rug was made by weavers artisans in the area of Khenifra, Atlas Mountains, Morocco. Groups of women there still weave by hand on traditional, vertical looms to make these new rugs!
The colors are a cream mixed with a light beige in an unregular striped pattern. Some lines, small squares and organic designs are flatwoven, deep into the pile, which makes the rug quite original! Both endings and borders are also a flatweave, with long tassels on each side.
This rug is made of premium quality, soft wool 100%. Medium pile (with flatweave) and quite thick and heavy.

Approximate dimensions are 7.6x10.5feet (+8inches tassels on one ending) / 232x322cm (+20cm tassels on one ending). You may spot a folding mark on the center part of the rug but it will quickly go away with use.
This rug is newly-made, meaning that it will come to you all clean and in excellent condition! As it is handmade, it may show some irregularities but it really is in a great shape!
