This lovely vintage Mermoucha shows the sweetest colors and that's why I got it for the shop! Love how the colors subtly change all over the rug from a bright orange to a faded peach, with pink in the middle. The main abstract design probably is about giving birth or maternity but I cannot be sure, it is open to interpretations!
Yes, the rug has this rustic feel and has some worn spots in pile but it's so warm and soft it is the perfect rug to put in your bedroom. The rug is made of wool 100% and is low pile.
Approximate dimensions are 4.5x7.2feet / 137x220cm. The rug has not been cut and is in its original shape.
Please note again that this rug is vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear, like this fringe that is a little torn. I do prefer when a vintage rug shows signs of age but that can be easily fixed (just let me know). That said, the rug is in beautiful condition, no obvious repairs or stains!
