I sourced that beautiful djellaba on a vintage market in Marrakech, Morocco.
All over Morocco, men still use these thick djellabas nowadays (old men, young men) as windbreakers when the cold season comes. It is definitely some overcoat you would not wear directly to your skin as this heavy, rustic wool can be a little itchy. Then, it is one perfect clothing to keep yourself warm!
This djellaba is made of sheep wool 100%.
This djellaba is a dark chocolate brown with thin cream stripes and with grey embroideries. Large hood. 2 pockets that are actually just openings. Originally made for men, I personally think it can be worn by everyone!
Size from wrist to wrist is 144cm / 56inches Sleeves are 44cm / 17inches long (sleeves on these old djellabas are always quite short) Size from shoulder to shoulder is 56cm / 22inches Size from armpit to armpit is 68cm / 26inches Size from the neck to the base is 143cm / 56inches The djellaba is 98cm / 38inches wide at its largest (the base)
The model on the pictures attached to the listing is 182cm / 6feet tall. He is quite thin so the djellaba looks a little large on him. Feel free to let me know if you need any extra info about the size, I will be happy to help!

If you purchase this item, you will receive it all clean! The djellaba has been dry cleaned twice and is kept in a plastic bag the time we find its new owner!
This item is real vintage, meaning that it's used already. It will come with signs of use. There is a brown stain on the front/bottom part of the djellaba + rough fixes on each sleeves (see close-up pictures attached to the listing). That said, it's in good condition for an old djellaba.
