Here is one of the lovely Boujad rugs with abstract designs I fell in love with! The main colors are a terracotta mixed with black, beige, faded gray and orange and a few touches of bright blue close to the tassels ending that make all the difference. The unregular "brick" pattern turns to big U and thin horizontal lines on some areas and that adds so much rhythm to the composition. The whole rug is quite artistic and vibrant!
The rug is all handmade and made of wool on a cotton base. It is a medium pile and is very comfortable underfeet.
Approximate dimensions are 5x8.6feet / 152x263cm (+tassels). The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
Please note that this rug is vintage, meaning that it was made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear. That said, it has been cleaned and is in great condition.
