I love how fresh and sweet this rug is! This vintage rug was probably made in the area of Boujad, Middle Atlas, Morocco. The pattern is a checkered in different shades of pink, grass green, mint green, olive green, with a subtle touch of purple that makes all the difference. If you are tired already of all the newly-made, boring checkered rugs in white+other color we've seen everywhere in the past year, but still like the check pattern, this unique, warm and rich one can be a great alternative!
The rug is handmade 100%. It is made of wool threads knotted on a recycled clothing base. The weaving is quite tight. The rug is a great quality and would go to any indoor space. The pile is a low to medium.
Approximate dimensions are 5.2x8.5feet / 160x260cm (no tassels). The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
Please note that this rug is real vintage, meaning that it has been made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear, which make it unique and charming. That said, the rug is all clean and in a great vintage condition!
