What a lovely rug! You don't come accross rugs this long every day so I litteraly jumped on that one! It is all handmade and probably comes from the Boujad tribe, known for using the pink/red tones in their rugs traditionally. The composition is quite simple with a serie of large hooked diamonds in a light pink and faded purple over a sweet, faded red to pink background.
The rug is handmade 100% and mix of wool and cotton. Low pile, it is quite light so you will probably need to add rugpads underneath.
Approximate dimensions are 3.4x18.3feet / 105x560cm with tiny tassels.
Please note that this rug is real vintage, meaning that it has been made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of wear, which make it unique and charming. The rug has some worn spots in pile and quite a rustic look, as shown on the pictures. That said, the rug was nicely fixed and is now in beautiful vintage condition!
