I picked this lovely rug from piles of carpets as I think it is such an original vintage piece! Main colors are brown, red, beige, blue, green, yellow, purple. I really love the composition with the large, rounded diamonds and especially the serie of three, two red and one blue.
The dimensions of the rug make it a versatile rug you can move all around the house, from your bedside to the kitchen or the entryway of course. Another idea would be to hang it on a wall like a colorful piece of art!
This rug is called a boucherouite and is made of a cotton threads knotted on a cotton base. Is a low to medium pile. It can be cleaned using water and soap, easy if you have kids or pets around!
Approximate dimensions are 5x5.7feet (+2inches tassels) / 154x175cm (+5cm tassels). It is quite rare to find a vintage moroccan runner rug that is almost square. It has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
Please note that this rug is vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear and a rustic look. That said, it shows no stains or obvious fixes and is in great vintage condition!
