I picked this lovely runner rug from stacks of carpets as I think it is such a sweet vintage piece! Main colors are a bright orange with red, blue, yellow, black and white... The composition is made of a single, long hooked diamond in the center part, surrounded with zigzags on the borders.
The dimensions of the rug make it a versatile rug you can move all around the house, from your bedside to the kitchen or the entryway of course. Another idea would be to hang it on a wall like a colorful piece of art!
This rug is called a boucherouite and is made of a cotton threads knotted on a cotton base. Is a low to medium pile. It can be cleaned using water and soap, easy if you have kids or pets around!
Approximate dimensions are 1.6x7.8feet / 50x238cm. It is quite rare to find a runner rug this size. It has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
Please note that this rug is vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear. That said, it shows no stains or obvious fixes and is in excellent condition!
