I am so glad I can bring this beautiful rug to the selection! I found it during a sourcing trip in the city of Azilal, Morocco. It is a real vintage Azilal rug with light signs of age but in an excellent condition and unmatched quality. What caught my eyes are the turquoise green diamonds, crosess and stars in a micro-checks pattern, over a warm, bright red background. With touches of black, pink and orange. The whole rug is a unique testimony of berber culture!
The rug is made of wool and cotton and is a low pile, quite thick though.
Approximate dimensions are 4.1x5.8feet / 127x177cm (no tassels). The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape and original colors that were not artificially faded.
Please note that this rug is vintage, meaning that it has been made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with very light signs of use. That said, the rug is all clean, shows no stains or obvious repairs and is in great vintage condition!
