I selected this lovely rug from piles of carpets as I fell in love with its crazy design! Real vintage berber rugs often come with the classical diamond pattern which is a symbol for feminity, but I think the work on this one is quite unusual, artistic and vibrant with all the branches radiating randomly from the main design. The background color of this rug is a brown, with cream bold design (natural wool color) and some touches of terracotta.
Its small dimensions make it a perfect versatile rug you can move around the house, from your bedside to your living room or the entryway.
The rug is made of wool on a cotton base and is a medium pile, very comfortable underfeet.
Approximate dimensions are 3.5x5.4feet (+2inches tassels on both endings) / 108x165cm (+5cm tassels on both endings). The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape. Due to the handmade weaving work, the rug is not perfectly rectangle as you can probably see on the pictures attached.
Please note that this rug is vintage, meaning that it has been made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of age. That said, the rug shows no stains or obvious fixes and is in great vintage condition!
