I selected this lovely rug from piles of carpets as I have always loved a good vintage Azilal rug in the beige+brownish tones! This one shows warm colors and a little rustic feel with abstract designs that are probably about giving birth, which is one of the main topic when it comes to real vintage moroccan rugs. You definitely get a glimpse of the berber culture on this tribal rug!
Main colors are brown and light brown on a beige background.
The rug is made of wool on a cotton base and is a medium pile. It is quite thick and super comfortable underfeet!
Approximate dimensions are 2.9x6.2feet / 88x188cm. Its small size makes it the perfect versatile you can move around the house, from the entryway to the bathroom or the kitchen. Another suggestion: hang it on a wall like the piece of art it is! The rug has not been cut and is in its original shape.
Please note that this small rug is real vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of wear which make it unique and charming. That said, it has been cleaned and is in great vintage condition!
