This lovely vintage rug was probably made in the area of Azilal, Morocco.
I picked it from stacks of carpets because I think it is unique, joyful and fresh! I love the composition with all the colorful diamonds and what look like totems. The rug almost shows a mexican inspiration!
The background color is a brown, with yellow, green, red, black and white designs all over it.
It was handmade 100% and is a mix of wool and cotton on a cotton base. Low pile.
Approximate dimensions are 3.5x6.1feet / 108x187cm (+tassels). The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
Please note that this rug is real vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear, like some worn spots in pile (see close-up shots). That said, it is in beautiful condition, shows no stains or obvious repairs! Bright colors.
