This vintage runner rug is a personal favorite! It was sourced in the area of Aït Bouguemez, Azilal, Morocco.
You probably heard that the checkered pattern is out of style already so, if you do care about trends (I don't) this abstract rug would make a great, alternative, timeless option!
Colors are a mix of cream, black, blue, red, yellow, and green. With a small touch of apple green, can you spot it?
The rug is made of wool and acrylic threads knotted on a cotton base and is a low pile.
Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the beautiful work on this rug!

This rug is vintage, meaning that it was made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of use. That said, the rug has been nicely fixed and cleaned and is now in a nice vintage condition!

You can vacuum your rug from time to time. If you happen to pour something on your rug, use a little bit of soft detergent and warm water, let it dry and then brush gently.
