I had this modern-style, original rug made by weavers artisans in the area of Taznakht, Morocco. Groups of women there still weave by hand on traditional, vertical looms to make these new rugs!

This rug is made of sheep wool over a cotton base. I hope that you can see on the pictures attached how it shows different textures. The main pile is a medium and the pattern is a flatweave, like a kilim. Cream "spots" are also a medium pile.

Background color on this elegant piece is a dark, forest green, with cream tuffed parts and the flaweave is a mix of a lighter green and olive.

Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the condition and beautiful work on this rug!

You can vacuum your rug from time to time. If you happen to pour something on your rug, use a little bit of soft detergent and warm water, let it dry and then brush gently.
