Love the unusual twist on the classical checkered in black and white rug! This vintage rug from the Taznakht tribe shows zigzags in its middle part actually in an undyed dark brown, natural beige and sweet colors like a faded pink, orange and sage green. That makes the rug very original and fun!

The rug is handmade, sheep wool 100% and a low to medium pile.

Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the beautiful work of this rug!

Dimensions

Approximate dimensions are 5.3x8.8feet (+6inches tassels) / 163x268cm (+15cm tassels).
The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.

Condition

This rug is vintage, probably not more than 20 years old. It means that it has been made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of age. That said, it shows no stains or obvious fixes and is in a great condition!

Care guide

You can vacuum your rug from time to time. If you happen to pour something on your rug, use a little bit of soft detergent and warm water, let it dry and then brush gently.
