When it comes to vintage moroccan rugs, the diamond is one of the most common pattern. Here on this vintage boucherouite rug there is a multiple bold diamond pattern in black over a warm, brick red that subtly turns to pink on one ending.

This rug is made of wool threads knotted on a cotton and recycled clothes base. The pile of the rug is a low to medium.

Pictures and video were taken in my all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the beautiful work on this rug!

Dimensions

Approximate dimensions are 5.5x7.2feet (+4inches tassels) / 169x220cm (+10cm tassels).
The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.

Condition

This rug is real vintage, meaning that it was made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of age. That said, the rug has been cleaned and is in great condition overall as you can see on the pictures attached.

You can vacuum your rug from time to time. If you happen to pour something on your rug, use a little bit of soft detergent and warm water, let it dry and then brush gently.
