This vintage Beni Mguild rug is a collector! Honestly I have never seen a moroccan rug with such a moody color combo! The perfect rug to bring warmth and character to your space!

The main color of the rug I would call eggplant purple but I guess you can tell from the pictures that it shows different shades. Traditional designs all over it are a mix of indigo blue, cream, red and orange.

This rug is quite thick, made of wool 100%, medium pile.

Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the condition, texture and beautiful colors on this rug!

Dimensions

Approximate dimensions are 5.2x9.8feet / 160x300cm.
The rug has been cut on one ending, probably because it was too damaged to keep its original shape (see close up pictures). It's been nicely fixed though, with a straight border, and the diamond design has not been broken.

Condition

This rug is obviously real vintage, meaning that it was made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of wear, which make it unique and charming. That said, it has been very nicely fixed and is now in beautiful condition! Again it really is a unique rug!

Care guide

You can vacuum your rug from time to time. If you happen to pour something on your rug, use a little bit of soft detergent and warm water, let it dry and then brush gently.
