This is such a lovely runner rug! Probably made in the area of Boujad, Middle Atlas, Morocco, the rug shows a classic composition with two parallel series of diamonds. As you probably know, the diamond is a traditional feminine symbol when it comes to vintage, handmade berber rugs.
The background color of the rug is a bright red with pink diamonds and black borders.
The rug is handmade 100% and made of wool knotted on a recycled clothing base. Low to medium pile.
