This vintage runner rug will bring the perfect bohemian vibe to your space! I can not be sure where it was made but it is called a boucherouite rug. The composition is quite simple and made of symetrical series of diamonds. The main background color is a light pink but you can see the wefts through the pile. It is like the background of the rug is striped. Then the diamonds pop out from the background in all the colors! This one really is a fresh and sweet colorful rug!
The rug is handmade 100%. It is made of wool and cotton. The pile is a low pile with textured parts in cotton.
Approximate dimensions are 2.6x7.9feet / 80x242cm (no tassels). The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape. Due to the handmade weaving work, the rug is a little curvy as you can see on the pictures attached.
Please note that this rug is real vintage, meaning that it has been made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of wear, which make it unique and charming. That said, the rug shows no stains or obvious fixes and is in a great vintage condition!
