This beautiful vintage rug from the Zayane tribe is a great find! The main background color is a bright red with intricate designs in black, beige, yellow/orange and sage green. The pattern is a central, multiplied diamonds and the whole rug is quite regular in its composition. The color shades and the precision are quite remarkable!
This handmade rug definitely is a unique piece of berber art!
The rug is made of sheep wool 100% and is a low pile. The colors are original and have not been artificially faded.
