Probably made in the area of Boujad, Middle Atlas, Morocco, the rug shows a classic serie of diamonds in different sizes. The background of the rug is a bright pink, with brown, green, blue and yellow designs.

The rug is handcrafted 100%. It is made of a mix of wool and cotton. The wool is a low pile with cotton threads poping out and giving a great texture to the whole rug. It is quite thick and would perfectly work for a high traffic area.

Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the beautiful work of this rug!

Dimensions

Approximate dimensions are 3.1x7.7ft (+4inches tassels) / 95x235cm (+10cm tassels).
The rug was not cut and comes in its original shape.

Condition

This rug is real vintage, meaning that it was made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of wear, like some worn spots in pile, which make it unique and charming. That said, the rug is all clean, shows no stains or obvious fixes and in a great vintage condition overall!

Care guide

Can be cleaned at home using water and soap. I did it myself at home before taking those pictures and I can guarantee there will be no color bleeding issue.
