I selected this runner rug from piles of rugs as I have always loved a dark, moody rug with pops of colors. The background on this one is a light black, with bright blue, beige and orange designs all over it. Love the whole composition with this bold, multiplied X pattern in the center, surrounded with more usual symbols like diamonds and stars, with also 2 cute teapots!
The rug is called a boucherouite and is handmade 100%. It is made of wool threads knotted on a cotton base. Despite its rustic look, the rug is an excellent quality and would go to any indoor space. The pile is a low to medium.
Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the beautiful work of this rug!

Approximate dimensions are 2.9x7feet (+4inches tassels) / 90x213cm (+10cm tassels).
This rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.

This rug is real vintage, meaning that it was made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear. That said, the rug is all clean and in a great vintage condition!
Care guide
You can vacuum your rug from time to time. If you happen to pour something on your rug, use a little bit of soft detergent and warm water, let it dry and then brush gently.
