This item is a thick, reversible "hanbel" blanket that can be also used as a flatweave kilim rug. It is made of wool on a cotton base. The composition is made of colorful stripes in orange, yellow, black, pink... with sawtooth borders and designs like series of intricate triangles and embroideries that add some rhythm and texture to the whole textile. Would also make a great wall hanging if you ask me!
Pictures and video were taken in my all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the beautiful work on this rug!

The item has not been cut and comes in its original shape. I recommend the use of rugpads if you would use it as a rug.

This rug is real vintage, meaning that it was made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of age, like a few stains that wouldn't go away. That said, the rug has been cleaned and fixed and is in good condition overall.

You can vacuum your rug from time to time. If you happen to pour something on your rug, use a little bit of soft detergent and warm water, let it dry and then brush gently.
