I picked that one from piles of carpets because I think that it's a beautiful, unique, tribal and such elegant piece with a great composition! Would look great under a long dining table!
Colors are several tones of purple and gray with a serie of turquoise designs (eyes and crosses) circled in pink in the center part of the rug.
Wool 100%. Low to medium pile with a flatweave, striped kilim part on each endings. The rug is quite heavy so it would perfectly fit in a high traffic area.
I select rugs that I would buy for myself and I assure you that this one is a true gem!
Approximate dimensions are 6.5x14.5feet / 200x442cm. The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
This rug is real vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of age. That said, it's in beautiful condition, shows no stains or obvious repairs.
