I sourced this tiny rug from the Ourika area in a vintage market in Marrakech. It is made of multiple, colorful cotton and wool threads knotted together, and also some small pieces of recycled clothing.
I picked that one for my Etsy because it is really unique, joyful and fresh! You will never see something similar. You have probably seen these versatile rugs hung on walls into interiors on Pinterest. They make such nice abstract art to brighten a room! And again this one is definitely a special one with such a great composition. Are these houses? mountains? waves?
Colors are blue, green, red and cream/white with touches of yellow and pink.
Approximate dimensions are 4x4.4feet / 124x134cm.
Please note that this item is real vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. I am showing it to you how it is, as I love when my rugs show signs of age. Most notable thing are the unregular fringes (see last close-up pictures) but I made sure they would not unravel. Rug has been cleaned already.
