Mrirt 2.7x5feet / 84x150cm

I had this quite fun, original Mrirt rug made by talented weavers artisans in the area of Khenifra, Atlas Mountains, Morocco. Groups of women there still weave by hand on traditional, vertical looms to make these new rugs!

For this particular rug I got inspired by mosaic floors at Herculanum, Italy.
Background color is a beige with diamonds and triangles all over it in green and pink and small black rectangles.

This rug is made of premium quality, soft wool 100%. Medium pile and quite thick.

Approximate dimensions are 2.7x5feet (+4inches +2inches tassels) / 84x150cm (+10cm +5cm tassels).


This rug is newly-made, meaning that it will come to you all clean and in excellent condition! As it is handmade, it may show some irregularities, like pink color that bled a little to the tassels (see picture #7). That said, the rug is in great condition!

Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the condition, texture and beautiful colors on this item!
