This long runner rug was hung on a wall at the vintage market in Marrakech the first time I saw it. I could appreciate its beauty at the first sight and it was an immediate yes for me!

Probably made in the area of Boujad, Middle Atlas, Morocco, the rug shows a classic serie of diamonds but the bright colors and the texture make it a super special item. Look at the creative work on the borders! The background of the rug is a light brown from undyed, natural wool, and the designs are a mix of red, blue, green, white, orange... Isn't it the perfect runner rug to bring some extra joy to your space?

The rug is handmade 100%. It is made of a mix of wool and cotton, and also goat hair on the borders. The wool is a low pile with cotton threads poping out and giving a great texture to the whole rug.

Approximate dimensions are 3.6x12.3feet (+4inches tassels) / 109x377cm (+10cm tassels).
Due to the handmade weaving work, the rug is not perfectly rectangle as you can see on the pictures attached. It has not been cut and comes in its original shape.

Please note that this rug is real vintage, meaning that it has been made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear, which make it unique and charming. Some fixes were made on the corners on the straight ending. That said, the rug is in a great vintage condition!

Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the beautiful work of this rug!
