This is definitely a collector rug! I've had some of these beautiful, vintage Beni Mguild rugs in the selection, but I never came accross one with such an extravagant work on the texture! The rug mostly shows low to medium pile -there's also a flatweave kilim ending- with small pieces of clothes all over it, like the boucherouite style. It makes the rug very unique.
Also, the colors are a great mix of blood orange to red rust with black and ochre, and lavender blue pieces of textiles.
Approximate dimensions are 5x7.8feet / 153x240cm. The rug has not been cut and is in its original shape. Due to the handmade weaving technique, it is not perfectly rectangle, as you may see on the pictures.
Please note that this rug is real vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear. That said, it shows no obvious fixes or stains and is in excellent condition!
Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech, using outside light coming from large windows aside (no use of extra artificial light). Colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the condition, textures and beautiful colors on this rug!
