This vintage rug is so beautiful! Made in the area of Taznakht, Southern Morocco, it shows a traditional pattern with a series of hooked diamonds and fibulas that look like berber jewels. Naturally dyed, the background color is a bright orange with yellow, blue, pink, purple designs. So much brighter in person!
The rug is handmade 100% using high quality sheep wool. Tight weaving which is typical from the Taznakht tribe. Low pile. Would make a great rug to brighten your stairs!
Approximate dimensions are 3.2x5.8feet / 100x178cm.
The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
This rug is real vintage, meaning that it has been made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of use. That said, it shows no stains or obvious repairs and is in great condition. I had it cleaned professionally and I can confirm there is no color bleeding concern.
