I sourced this large, green plate in the city of Taroudant, South Morocco. It is made of red clay from this area and the green is an imported pigment that comes from Belgium. If you know the famous craftmanship from Tamegroute already, please note that it is different in work process and final look, still traditional production though.
This plate here is a large piece you can use as a fruit or cake plate for example. With its serrated borders it is a very elegant decor item by itself!
Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech and also in my garden (with my cat Billie and fruits). They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the colors and texture of this item.
