I selected this runner rug from piles of rugs as I have always loved a vintage rug with unregular checks.
This one is a mix of a raspberry pink and brownish black. It shows a nice faded patina and also has some tiny pieces of recycled clothes in black that make the rug sparkle.
The rug is called a boucherouite and is handmade 100%. It is made of wool threads knotted on a cotton base. Despite its rustic look, the rug is a good quality and would go to any indoor space. The pile is a low to medium.
Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the beautiful work of this rug!
Dimensions
Approximate dimensions are 3.9x8.1feet (+2inches tassels) / 119x248cm (+5cm tassels).
Due to the handmade weaving work, the rug is not perfectly rectangle as you can see on the pictures attached. It has not been cut and comes in its original shape.

Condition
This rug is real vintage, meaning that it was made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of wear, like some worn spots in pile. That said, the rug is now all clean and in a nice vintage condition!
Care guide
You can vacuum your rug from time to time. If you happen to pour something on your rug, use a little bit of soft detergent and warm water, let it dry and then brush gently.
