This lovely vintage rug has been sourced in the area of Ait Bouguemez, Morocco. It is made of multiple, colorful , recycled pieces of clothes and neutral wool threads knotted together. Women in Morocco have been using this technique for generations to recycle the family clothes cutting them in tiny, colorful pieces of fabric they assemble following their imagination.
I picked that one from piles of carpets because it is really unique! I love when a moroccan rug comes with that kind of unstructed pattern. You have probably seen these rugs hung on walls into interiors on Pinterest. They make such nice abstract art to brighten a room!
These rugs are quite robust and are perfect items for a high traffic area like an entryway or a kitchen.
Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the texture and beautiful colors on this rug!

This rug is real vintage, meaning that it was made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear. That said, the rug is in beautiful condition, shows no stains or obvious repairs! Bright colors.

You can vacuum your rug from time to time. If you happen to pour something on your rug, use a little bit of soft detergent and warm water, let it dry and then brush gently.
