RESERVED FOR MATT Tuareg mat 9.8x14.3feet / 300x437cm

Tuareg mats are handwoven by women of the Tuareg tribes of Mauritania. The base is made of natural palms and reed and decorated with intricate camel and goat leather strands.
These pieces are not exactly from Morocco but they have been used a lot to cover tents floors in the Sahara. And you already know how good they look in contemporary and bohemian interiors!!

Background of this one is brown with lines and crosses leather designs in a darker brown color.


Approximate dimensions of this mat are 9.8x14.3feet / 300x437cm.
The mat has not been cut and will come in its original shape. It is a little wavy on both extremities as you can see on the main shots of it.


Please note that this item is real vintage, meaning that it has been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear. Both borders are brand new. The mat has been cleaned and the leather has been freshly oiled. I can definitely send you extra pictures or videos so you get a better idea of the condition of the mat, which is great overall!
