Not that I am calling me an expert but I sometimes have the feeling that a rug is truly special, like something I have never seen before.

This vintage rug, probably from the Talsint tribe, definitely is a collector rug! The composition is so great with all the bold rectangles and diamonds in lines and that big mosque in the middle part of the rug. I mean I think it is quite a spectacular rug, isn't it?

The main color of the rug is a light red, mixed with black, cream, orange and sage green.

This rug is quite thick, made of wool 100%, medium pile with flaweave borders and endings.


Approximate dimensions are 6x12.5feet / 182x382cm (+small tassels).
The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape. Due to the handmade weaving work, it is not perfectly rectangle like most of the real vintage moroccan rugs.


This rug is real vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of wear, which make it unique and charming. That said, it is in beautiful condition! Again it really is a unique rug!
