I have had this modern-style, original Mrirt rug made by artisans in the area of Khenifra, Atlas Mountains, Morocco. Groups of women there still weave by hand on traditional, vertical looms to make these new rugs.
This rug is made of premium quality, soft wool 100%. Medium pile, thick and heavy! Super comfortable texture and does not shed.
Colors are black with orange and cream which is the natural wool color.
Approximate dimensions are 2.4x9.9feet (+6inches tassels on one end) / 74x303cm (+15cm tassels on one end).
This rug is newly-made, meaning that it will come to you all clean and in excellent condition! As it is handmade, it may show some irregularities but it really is in a great shape!
