Burnous

I sourced that vintage burnous cape on a vintage market in Marrakech, Morocco.

All over Morocco, men still use these nowadays (old men, young men) as windbreakers when the cold season comes. It is one perfect clothing to keep yourself warm! And also such a great, timeless fashion item!

This burnous is made of sheep wool 100%, with silk embroideries.

Main color is brown, natural wool color actually, with grayish embroideries. Large hood with a tassel. No pockets as there are no sleeves. Originally made for men, I personally think it can be worn by everyone!


Size from the neck to the base is 125cm / 49inches.

The model pictured is 182cm / 6feet tall. He is quite thin so the cape looks a little large on him. Feel free to let me know if you need any extra info about the size, I will be happy to help!

If you purchase this item, you will receive it clean. The burnous has been cleaned in washing machine and is kept in a plastic bag the time we find its new owner!
