I picked that vintage kilim of Beni Ourain from piles of carpets because I think that it's a beautiful neutral rug, with this rare looped pile who caught my eye! You don't really come accross rugs using this weaving work these days... And the size, almost square, is also unusual, which makes this piece so unique!
I think in would look great both in a bohemian or contemporary interior.
- Soft, high quality wool. Long pile wool strands woven in loops on a wool base.
- Main color is ivory/cream with brown lines (both are natural wool colors).
- Approximate dimensions: 7x7.6feet / 215x233cm
Please note that this rug is vintage, meaning that it's been made first for a private use, not directly for the market; it will come with light signs of light wear. That said it's in excellent condition as you can tell from the pictures attached.
Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech, using outside light coming from large windows aside (no use of extra artificial light). Colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures.
