I selected that rug from piles of carpets because I've never seen one like this before! Love the bold zigzags pattern all over the rug and the perfect mix of black with peach tones.

The rug is made of wool threads knotted on a cotton + wool base, a technique that is similar to the boucherouite style.
On the top part of the rug, close to the red strip, the border is made of goat hair. On the bottom part of the rug, some colorful pieces of textile pop out from the wool like confettis!

Definitely a unique, spectacular piece if you're looking to add some drama to your space!

No tassels. The rug has not been cut, is in its original shape. Due to the handmade weaving technique the rug is not perfectly square, which makes it kind of fun!

This item is real vintage, meaning that it has been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear. That said, it is in excellent vintage condition, thick and heavy!

Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech, using outside light coming from large windows aside (no use of extra artificial light). Colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures.
